J&H Wall World Champions

J&H Wall/Chanticlear Pizza/Miken take the USSSA C World Title going 8-1 in Sterling Heights, MI.

J&H Wall won the USSSA C World title over the weekend going 8-1 and double dipping Pure Romance/Easton out of Cincinnati, OH. Pure Romance sent J&H to the loser's bracket in the chair game on Sunday morning but would end up dropping two later on Sunday. J&H does what they always do. They got their 10-15 runs per game, play spotless defense, and do not make big mistakes.

For the weekend they averaged scoring eleven runs and giving up only six.

Going 8-1 the Wall & Pizza boys wrapped up an excellent season with a World Title in Sterling Heights, Michigan the weekend of Sept. 20th. Even with the bats not waking up till the last game they managed to win it all giving up a remarkable 52 runs in 9 games.

They were led by Tourney MVP pitcher Andy Vitcak who pitched every inning of the tourney along with offensive MVP Scott Eischens who led them in average and homeruns.

The whole team played great defense the whole weekend behind Vitz with many standout plays made by Al Ouellette at 3rd.  Tim Nielson at SS and Ryan Anderson in CF.

Joining Vitcak and Eischens on the all World team were Brandon Newman, Tubby Morrison, Tim Nielson, Ryan “Tower” Anderson, Chad “Noonan” Morrow, Jeff “Jr” Semling and coach Craig “Boomer” Lundeen.

This wraps up a year which saw the team win 7 Tourneys including the USSSA C Central Division and WSL B Northern National Titles and finish 79-19.
