Tournament #14.....WSL Midwest B
Here we go....First post season tourney of the year.  Not sure where all the Sellox guys ended up, so we'll take a shot at the brackets below without much knowledge where they ended up:

First Round:

#8 River City Ready Mix/Bud Light vs. #9 Homes Unlimited/Superstars.
Good first round match-up.  When either of these show up, they can hit with anyone in the tournament.  River City had an impressive 2nd place finish last year at the Midwest Nationals in Shakopee with an impressive win over Showcase.  Homes Unlimited has a boat load of talent and they are looking to finally put it together.  I have been a little disappointed in their season so far, but is this the tourney they get it cranked up?  I like HU in this one, 18-14.

#6 Pipac Softball vs. #11 J&H Wall/Chanticlear/Miken.
Pipac has had a nice season and looks to get rolling before the rest of the national tourneys.  J&H Wall arguably has had one of the best seasons of any teams in Minnesota.  When they get rolling, they are tough to beat.  I see Pipac in this one, but stayed tuned for J&H later in this tournament.  Pipac wins, 22-17.

#7 McAlpine's/Full Moon vs. #10 All-American Restoration/Miken.
Haven't seen a ton of McAlpine's, but a team that can play with the best of them.  AAR has had a tough season and they are looking to make a run in their last tournament of the year.  I could see them getting really hot, but not sure if they have played since the Fireman's.  I like McAlpine's winning in the 7th, 17-16.

Quaterfinals:
#4 Viessman/BBS/Miken vs. #5 Viessman Trucking.
#4 vs. #5 is always a tough one to predict.  Both teams can put up a ton of runs and the difference might be the pitching of Skelly in this one.  I like a tight game early, but in typical Viessman/BBS fashion, they have a big 4th or 5th inning and win this one, 21-15.

#9 Homes Unlimited vs. #1 Contractors Capital.
The tourneys #1 seed finally gets going.  Not sure how they have done it, but they seem to keep piecing it all together and the ship above water.  I like CC in this one, 19-11.

#6 Pipac vs. #3 T's 13.
This one is a flip of the coin for me and I see the winner of this going to the finals.  I like T's for some reason, 24-22 in what could be the game of the tournament in 2 teams that know each other very, very well.

#7 McAlpine's vs. #2 TCP/Easton.
TCP/Easton has some big fellas in the middle of the line-up that can mash it.  Check out the 3rd base coach for them as well, he wears a white towel that says coach on it...Classic, Classic, Classic!  Ilike TCP in this one, 17-14.

Semifinals:
Viessman/BBS vs. Contractors Capital.
Another great game.  CC will hit a few more dingers at more important times in this one and pull out a nail biter, 21-18.

T's 13 vs. TCP/Easton.
Another game where the teams know each other very well.  I see T's to getting rolling with a big first inning and never look back, 23-16.

Undefeated Game:
CC vs. T's 13.
Probably had the 2 best seasons, outside of J&H this year, of the teams entered.  CC will jump early, but T's comes back with a big 5th inning and pulls it out, 20-18.

Championship Game #1:
CC over T's, 24-16

Championship Game #2:
T's over CC, 16-11.

Final Order:
1) T's 13
2) Contractor's Capital
3) Viessman/BBS/Miken
4) J&H Wall/Chanticlear/Miken
5/6) Pipac Softball and TCP/Easton

MVP: Losson White, P, T's 13.
