Tournament #14.....WSL Midwest D
Some teams I am unaware of from other states, but will do teh best I can....Here we go!

Play-in Games:
Schmdit Roofing/JA Trucking over Old Main Brewery, 9-4
Roadhouse over DK Wood, 11-7
Eagles/Audio Design over Latsch Island Gutters, 11-9
Grumpy's over Tav on the Ave, 16-10
Cardinal Realty over Twin Cities catering, 15-5

Round One:
Blitz Miken over Midwest Hard Hitters, 16-6

TJ Potter Trucking over DB Saloon, 10-8

Skyline/Kubes/Turtles vs. Schmidt Roofing.
I under estimated Skyline at the Fireman's with me picking them in the 3 hole.  Talked to them on Friday night and didn't like the bulls eye.  All they do is win it.  Therefore, there is HUGE bulls eye now.  Skyline wins this one, 16-7.  Ship it.

Kratz Petroleum over Terry Beck Construction, 14-4.

Mainstreeter over Breakroom Bar and Grill, 15-12

Performance Asphalt vs. Roadhouse.
JT's comments from Mound have inspired the plucky bunch that wear Green, Gold, and Black.  The bald mouthy 1st baseman apparently can back it up, just ask him, he will tell you.  In a common theme in this tourney, PA wins it big, 19-6.

Coor Light/Steelers vs. Bordertown/Fastenal.
Great first round match-up.  One of my favorites teams in all of D this year is the Coors Light/Steelers team.  Bordertown will give them all they can handle, but too much of Roethlisberger, Parker, and Tomlin.....they win it 16-14.

Busch Leaguers over Sand Dunes Spirits, 12-8.

Lerud Insurance over Ruffneck, 10-9.

Aline over Eagles, 12-9.

Grmupy's over Buckshot Express, 14-10.

Bush Leaguers over Kelley Masonry, 13-6.

Jim's Market/Cobras overs Grim Reapers, 19-4.

Cardinal Realty vs. HCCLTM.
Another good first round match-up.  Cardinal is going to give them a run, but HCCLTM keeps the season rolling.  They have a good mixture of speed and hitting, the only thing holding them back is the coaching.  :-)  I see the black and red getting rolling early with their solid defense in the OF and win this one, 14-9.

Lewis Insurance over CI Hawks, 16-11.

Dogg Pound over Hollywood Graphics, 15-9.

Round Two:
Blitz over TJ Trucking, 13-10.

Skyline over Kratz Petroleum, 11-9.

Performance Asphalt over Mainstreeter, 16-8.

Coors Light over Busch Leaguers, 15-3.

Aline over Lerud, 10-8.

Grumpy's over Bush Leaguers, 13-10.

HCCLTM over Jim's Market Cobra's, 15-14, in the game of the tourney.

Dogg Pound over Lewis Insurance, 13-12.

Quaterfinals:
Skyline/Kubes/Turtles vs. Blitz/Miken.
Great first QF game.  The difference?  The gazelle in LF for Skyline.  Reports from Shako is that guy can track down everything.  More of the bulls eye on Skyline, 14-13.

Performance Asphalt vs. Coors Light/Steelers.
Really tough to go against my Steelers, but PA has too much of "it".  They win this one in a great one, 16-14.

Aline vs. Grumpy's.
How did Grumpy's get in the lower?  Is this Bundy's team?  Anyways, they made a good run to this point, but run out of gas to a tough Aline team, 13-10.

HCCLTM vs. Dogg Pound.
Another good one, man this bracket is shaping up for some good games.  Dogg Pound has had a nice season.  IF HCCLTM wants to win, keep it was from Derek in LF...Pretty legit.  HCCLTM wins it in the bottom of the 7th on a base hit to RF, 16-15.

Semi-Finals:
Skyline vs Performance Asphalt.
The bulls eye finall has met its match.  The Turtles put up a good effort, but fall short in this one, 15-10.

HCCLTM vs. Aline.
The #1 seed keeps rolling.....18-12.

Undefeated:
HCCLTM vs. Performance Asphalt.
Dream match-up for Pfeff.  Only thing as good would be Skyline vs. HCCLTM, to see the rematch from the Fireman's.  PA runs out of gas because of their emotional win against Skyline, HCCLTM wins it, 15-12.

Championship:
Perfomance Asphalt back to the championship after beating Dogg Pound in the Loser's Bracket Final to reach the Championship.  They are rolling and beat HCCLTM in the first one, 18-10.  HCCLTM goes up big early, but PA keeps their heads in it and the 1B for PA hits a walk-off for the national title, 14-13.

Final Order:
1) Performance Asphalt
2) HCCLTM
3) Dogg Pound
4) Aline
5/6) Skyline/Kubes/Turtles and Blitz/Miken

MVP: Brian Sperl, 1B, Performance Asphalt
