Tournament #10.....Breaking down the BBS Invitational
Well, we're back for the 2nd half of the season.  It is a time when we find out if the 1st half teams peaked and who will be the emerging teams of the 2nd half.  There are a few teams to watch this 2nd half, but I will keep those to myself at this time.  Next week will be the big Fireman's edition....schedule some time, it will be a long read.  Here we go for this week:

Round One:
Eitzen State Bank vs. Jonny's/Selloxx/Eagles.  Good first round match-up.  ESB might be one of those teams poised to make a run the 2nd half of the season.  Haven't heard much out of Jonny's camp this year.  ESB had a disappointing first half, but I see them starting to get it going.  I like ESB in this one, 19-14.

Eason/Hooters/Rockets vs. Cruisin Chubby's.
JT riled up the Hooters boys with his lasted comments, so they will be out to prove everyone wrong.  Crusin Chubby's had a rough 6's Wild when I saw them, but can they get it going as well?  I see the Hooters winning this one as they seem to be playing pretty good right now.  Final will be 18-10.

Quarterfinals:
Viessman/BBS/Miken vs. Stockton Valley Lounge.
Viessmans/BBS/Miken's tournament to lose.  Another team that hasn't really got it rolling yet, but they will definitely start it up this weekend in a good tune-up for the Fireman's.  Stockton's Valley lounge...who?  This will get ugly early, 24-4.

ESB vs. JJ/Jonny's.
ESB in another quick one, 21-7.

BBS/Josh Fjerstad vs. Easton/Hooters/Rockets.
BBS/JF really wants to defend their turf.  I heard that their motto for the weekend is "no one, and I mean no one, comes into our house and pushes us around.  It's your game, let's do it."  However, they run into an inspired  Hooters team and fall in this one, 18-15.

Lucky's 13/Jazz vs. MN Easton.
The Jazz is missing their infamous and everyone's fan favorite, Hammer.  Heard it is "Dave Hoogsteen Day" in Grand Forks on Saturday and he is going to bring his game worn jersey up there to get signed.  MN Easton is coming in lookign strong this year.  This game will be no different, as I give the edge to Easton, 19-16.

Semifinals:
Viessman/BBS/Miken vs. Eitzen State Bank.
Great match-up.  Viessman doesn't play the talking game, they just show it on the field.  ESB's run end right here, Viessman in a close one 22-18.

Easton/Hooters/Rockets vs. MN Easton.
Battle of the Easton squads.  I like MN Easton in this one, 18-16.

Undefeated Game:
Viessman/BBS/Miken vs. MN Easton.
Another good match up, but Viessman is rolling.  I liek Viessman again, 23-20.

Finals:
Viessman over MN Easton, 17-10.

Final Order:
1) Viessman/BBS/Miken
2) MN Easton
3) Eitzen State Bank
4) Easton/Hooters/Rockets
