Tournament #3.....Breaking down 6's Wild brackets---Upper
Well, this one looks to be a good one in both brackets with most of the "big" teams in each bracket.  Here we go:

Upper:

Round One:
Sellox/Foxworth/Miken vs. Eitzen State Bank:
Should be a great first round match-up.  Sellox is coming off a great weekend at Corky's and looked solid.  The addition of Burton and Bolley seem to be looking good.  ESB is coming off a disappointing Corky's...However, this may be the weekend that thye break out.  They did win the Lower last year at 6's, so they have had succeess in T.I, plus the addition of Putzy.  I do like Sellox in a tight one, 21-18.

Tharaldson's/Miken vs. All-American Restoration/Miken:
OO's dream first round match-up against his former teammates from Showcase.  I predicted Tharaldson's to win Corky's and they let me down, especially getting run ruled on Sunday against T's 13.  All-American plays in its first tourney of the year and should be ready to go.  This is also going to be a tight one, but Tharaldson's pulls through in this one.  23-22.

Team Viessman vs. BBS/Miken:
Flip, Crummy, and gang started 2008 in proper fashion...Top 5 finish at Corky's.  After a rought first game, they got the bats rolling and gave a great run until running out of gas on Sunday against Sellox.  BBS/Miken comes in with a the hard luck championship at Corky's as they seem to find their bats as well.  Team Viessman will have something to prove again this weekend and even though JT can get GTL50 out in Shako, he will have troubles with Flip and Crummy.  I like Viessman in this one, 19-13.

Redwood/Worth vs. Jonny's/Sellox/Eagles:
Haven't had the chance to get a glimpse on Jonny's yet, but have seen enough of Redwood to know that they are for real after their back-to-back tourney wins in Burnsville and Owatonna.  I like Redwood to keep rolling in this one, especially in a line-up where Randy hits 6th.  Redwood wins this one, 22-10.

T's 13 vs. J&H/Wall/Chanticlear:
This seems to be another great first round match-up.  T's 13 looked very, very good in Owatonna, particularily with their Max Muscle pick-ups.  That pitcher is legit and needs guys on for him so he can swing away!  J&H seems to be as hot as anyone in the state at this point (maybe with the exception of Redwood).  There will be a lot of runs scored in this one, but I like J&H pulling this one out, 29-28 and you won't here T's 13 complaining about the bats.

Viessman/BBS vs Kim's Barrell Inn:
Again, another team I haven't gotten reports on (Kim's Barrell Inn).  Viessman/BBS has added a couple of nice additions to their roster this year and they look to get rolling early.  I like Viessman/BBS in this one, 21-9.

Stephan's/The Bar vs. Homes Unlimited:
Homes Unlimited has started out pretty slow this year, but they look to have another strong 6's Wild weekend, finishing behind Long Haul and Kevitt.  I think HU will break out as they integrate their new guys and win this one, 17-14.

Contractors Capital vs. Salscheider/Hanson:
Another interesting.  One team is rolling, one team is struggling.  Sometimes, that bodes well for the struggling team and they have a breakout tournament.  I don't see it happening in this one, however.  The CC line-up is loaded from top to bottom and obviously added some nice pieces to their puzzle this year.  It will be interesting to see how the loss of Lenny affects their chemistry.  I like CC walking away with this one early, 28-11.

Quaterfinals:
Tharaldson's over Sellox, 23-18
Redwood over Viessman, 24-22
J&H over Viessman/BBS, 21-16
CC over Homes Unlimited, 20-9

Semi Finals:
Redwood over Tharaldson's, 22-18
CC over J&H, 24-23

Undefeated game:
Redwood over CC, 21-19

Championship, Game one:
Redwood over Tharaldson's, 21-11

Order of Finish:
1) Redwood
2) Tharaldson's
3) CC
4) J&H
5/6) T's 13 and All-American Restoration

Tourney MVP: Josh Holthaus, Redwood
